My Background

I am educated a designer (Danish School Of Design, textile and fashion design, 2006), but from 2013 to ‘19 I worked as manager, hostess, veg grower and communicator on Muld, my family’s self-sustainable and organic farm with its own restaurant.
My husband, who is a chef, and I grew/grow fruit, soft fruit, vegetables, herbs and flowers and kept sheep, pigs, ducks, chickens and bees, all to supply our restaurant, and our family.

In 2019 I started studying online to combine my design background with my experience from farming and gardening and my general obsession with gardens and plants.

I have taken all kinds of courses amongst others: Certificate in the Principles of Plant Growth, Propagation and Development from RHS (Royal Horticultural Society, UK) and the Garden Design Diploma from Learning with Experts (online courses tought by horticultural heroes (UK)).
In spring 2021 I took the title garden designer and started my own one-woman company Hoffmeyer Havedesign.
